12 fresh mussels (frozen is fine too, but they
will take 3 min longer to cook)
INGREDIENTS
Place the onion, garlic and peppers in the
base of the Extra Chef with blade insert,
Cover and pull cord several times to chop.
Quarter the tomatoes and place them in
the base of the Extra Chef. Crush them
finely.
Cut the chicken breast and season and
slice up the chorizo sausage.
Grab the broth and add in the saffron,
salt and pepper. Stir away. Add in the
vegetables, pieces of chicken, and sausage into the broth. Put it all into your Microwave Fast Cooker, and then stire in the rice.
Make sure everything is mixed well and then cover. Sit back and relax, while you
microwave your delicious paella for 15 min
at 900 watts.
Allow to stand for 10 min, until the
pressure goes down. The handy little
gauge at the top will show you.
When the pressure indicator has dropped,
uncover and stir in peas, shrimp, salt and
pepper. Place the mussels halfway down
in rice.
Replace the cover and microwave for 6
min at 900 watts.
Allow to rest for an additional 5 min or
until pressure subsides. Serve hot.
