Achieve More With Your Time

Eat, sleep, work, repeat. Feel like you're stuck in an endless cycle of ordinary? Here are some tips and tricks to help you go beyond and achieve the extraordinary. Achieve your goals and get more out of each and every day!

Set a goal

1. Set a goal

What do you want to do that's outside of your daily grind? Maybe it's taking up a new hobby, learning a new skill or just finishing a personal project. Visualize the goal and list five ways you will reach it. Also try creating a mind map or mood board.

Check your time

2. Check your time

Make an inventory of how you're currently spending your time in an ordinary day. To understand how you're prioritizing your day, list each activity and place it into one of four categories: urgent, important, urgent and important, neither urgent nor important.

Eliminate the negative

3. Eliminate the negative

After a check of how you're actually spending your time, decide what activities aren't serving your ultimate goal. For example, if binging on television, playing games or scrolling through social media is taking time away from what really matters, make a resolution to cut back.

Buy local products

4. Take a break

To achieve more, sometimes you have to slow down and do less. Don't forget to make time to relax and just breathe. Run a hot bath, put on a face mask, read a book, meditate. Make sure to take time for you!

Get organized

5. Get organized

There is magic in a tidy space. Take ten minutes every morning to organize your desk, clean out overstuffed drawers, clear out clutter. Then organize your time the same way--in manageable pieces. Take 10 minutes in the morning to meditate. Set aside an hour to prep a week's worth of lunches. Soon you'll have more time to focus on the extraordinary!
