Mix oats and water or milk in the Individual Microwave Rice Maker base (do not cover). Microwave for 2 min. 30 sec. at 600 watts.

Allow to stand for 1 min. Stir using a thin spatula. If needed, microwave again by periods of 1 min. at 600 watts, according to your taste.
VARIATIONS
Here are ideas to brighten up your porridge after cooking:
- 100 g sliced bananas and 2 crumbled breakfast biscuits
- 50 g blueberries and 2 tbsp sliced almonds
- 100 g diced apples, 1 tbsp honey and 1 pinch of cinnamon
- 50 g currants or raspberries, 1 tbsp red berry jam and 1 tbsp unsalted pistachios
You can also use any of the following treats as toppings:
- Brown sugar, coconut sugar
- Golden syrup, honey or maple syrup
- Red berries or other fruits
- Mashed banana
- Dried cranberries or raisins
- Orange marmalade or other jams
- Seeds like poppy, sunflower, pumpkin or sesame
- Cinnamon
- Sliced and roasted almonds
- Coarsely chopped hazelnuts, pecans or walnuts
- Dried coconut
- Chocolate flakes made with the Click Series Peeler
- Cocoa powder
