Summer Penne

Instructions


  1. Pour 400 ml water into the Micro Gourmet Steamer Tray.

  2. Peel the asparagus and cut them into 2-3 cm pieces. Keep the tips a bit longer and set them in the Steamer Base. Cut the mushrooms into two or four pieces depending on their size and add them into the Steamer Base.

  3. Stack the Steamer Base onto the Tray, cover and microwave for approx. 9 min. at 900 watts. Allow to stand for 5 min.

  4. Peel the onion and chop using the Herb Chopper.

  5. In the Chef Series Sauteuse, stir-fry the onion and minced pork meat with the olive oil. Add the cooked mushrooms and asparagus, the lime zest, salt, grated nutmeg and cook for approx. 5 min. on medium heat.

  6. In the Microwave Pasta Maker Round base, pour in the pasta, then water as per guidelines on the base. Microwave at 900 watts for twice as long as the cooking time indicated on the pasta package (decrease or increase this cooking time slightly according to your taste). Place on the Pasta Maker Cover and drain the cooked pasta (keep some cooking water aside). Season with salt.

  7. Add the pasta and 2 tbsp (± 30 ml) of the cooking water into the Sauteuse. Reheat if needed for 1-2 min. on medium heat.

  8. Sprinkle with the grated Parmesan and chopped parsley before serving.
