Macaroni Cheese

Instructions

  1. Place the macaroni and boiling water into the Microwave Fast Cooker. Lock in the cover and cook in the microwave on high / 100% power / 900 watts for 8 minutes. Remove from the microwave and allow to stand until the pressure indicator to drop before removing the cover.

  2. Remove cover, stir in cream, cheeses, and a good pinch of salt and pepper to season. Serve immediately or cool and spoon into CrystalWave containers for later on!  Try these extra indulgent twists to ensure even cheesier results.

  3. Four Cheese Mac (2): Quatro formaggio for the win! If you believe that there’s simply no such thing as too much cheese, then this saucy little number is for you. In addition to the cheddar, add 200 g of Gouda, 50 g of parmesan, 100 g of Swiss cheese, and crumble in some blue cheese for the final punch. Throw in a handful of walnuts for a satisfying crunch.

  4. Pulled Pork Mac (3): For a meaty variation, mix 450 g of shredded pork shoulder and 125 ml barbecue sauce for a tangy, tantalizing, and totally terrific munch. Whether kids or granny, this is the kind of dish that wins over hearts and stomachs.

  5. Pro Tip: Don’t be afraid to play around with texture and color. After microwaving, add a little pinch of turmeric for a vibrant cheesy color to go strong with the mellow yellow theme. Then, top it all off with some fried chopped bacon or breadcrumbs for a crunchy texture.

  6. Cheesy lover of the highest proportions? Continue your pursuit of cheddar-topia and take a dip into our Cheesy Bacon and Beer Dip. A great addition to a buffet spread, this is sure to be a star feature to which guests will return time and time again to dunk for more.
