Quick Shake Savoury Tart

Instructions


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and grease a small pie dish. If you are using a large pie dish, then double the recipe ingredients.

  2. Place ingredients for filling into pie dish. Sprinkle the grated cheese over.

  3. Place all custard ingredients into the Quick Shake (500ml), in the order in which they are written. Shake well.

  4. Pour over filling and bake at 180°C for 35 minutes or until set.


Other filling ideas – asparagus and baby marrow, bacon/ham and mushrooms, tuna and pineapple.

For the filling:

  • 175 g spinach
  • 25 ml grated onion
  • 250 ml grated cheddar cheese

For the egg mixture:

  • 150 ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 30 ml flour
  • 5 ml mustard
  • 3 ml salt
  • 2 ml pepper
  • 2 ml mixed herbs
