Hot Chili and Coconut Prawns

Instructions


  1. In the Quick Shake, add coconut milk, corn starch, salt and chili powder. Shake to combine.

  2. If using, chop garlic and onion using the Herb Chopper then combine with the prawns.

  3. Heat oil in the Universal Cookware 24 cm Frypan (with coating or stainless steel) on high heat.

  4. Sear prawns for 20 sec. on each side.

  5. Lower the heat to medium, add contents of the Quick Shake and allow to cook without cover for 2 min., stirring occasionally.

  6. Serve immediately with rice or noodles.

  • 200 ml coconut milk (±3/4 cup)
  • 5 ml corn starch (±1 tsp)
  • 2 ml salt (±1/2 tsp)
  • Chili powder to taste)
  • 1 garlic clove (peeled) (optional)
  • 1 small onion (optional)
  • 400 g raw shelled prawns (±14 oz)
  • 5 ml oil for cooking (±1 tsp)
